To become a licensed real estate representative in Canada you must successfully complete a course of study as required under the Real Estate Act of your resident province.

Admissions Test for Ontario Real Estate Courses
The test is designed to meet the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005, requirements of equivalency to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
The test consists of 50 real estate-focused multiple choice questions that test basic English comprehension and mathematics. A real estate background is not a pre-requisite for the test. The passing mark is 50 per cent.
